Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms govern your use of the Crown Vinyl mobile app, crownvinyl.co, and related services. By using Crown Vinyl, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. The Service

Crown Vinyl helps collectors identify records, catalog collections, assess condition, and estimate market value. Crown Vinyl is not a marketplace, dealer, auction house, or appraisal service, and records cannot be bought or sold through Crown Vinyl.

Identifications, grades, and prices are estimates based on available photos, user notes, third-party data, and automated analysis. They may be incomplete or incorrect and should not be treated as a guarantee of authenticity, condition, or sale price.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for the accuracy of information submitted through your account and for keeping access to your email and device secure. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

4. Credits and Purchases

Some actions require credits. Credit quantities, prices, and included features are shown before purchase. In-app purchases are processed by Apple and are also subject to Apple's terms and refund policies. Unless required by law or Apple's policies, used credits are not refundable. Promotional credits may have separate eligibility rules disclosed with the offer.

5. Your Content

You retain ownership of photos, notes, and other content you submit. You grant Crown Vinyl a limited license to host, process, reproduce, and display that content as needed to provide, secure, and improve the service. You represent that you have the right to submit your content and that it does not violate another person's rights.

6. Acceptable Use

You may not:

• Use Crown Vinyl for unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive activity
• Upload malicious code or content that infringes another person's rights
• Attempt to bypass security, credit limits, or access controls
• Interfere with the service or use automated means to extract data without consent
• Misrepresent Crown Vinyl estimates as certified appraisals or guarantees

7. Third-Party Services and Data

Crown Vinyl uses third-party services and data sources for hosting, analytics, communications, purchases, record identification, and pricing. Their availability and accuracy are outside our control, and your use of their services may be governed by their terms.

8. Availability and Changes

We may change, suspend, or discontinue features and may limit or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect Crown Vinyl, its users, or third parties. You may stop using Crown Vinyl and request account deletion at any time.

9. Disclaimer

Crown Vinyl is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, and uninterrupted availability.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Crown Vinyl and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for losses arising from reliance on an identification, condition grade, price estimate, or third-party data source.

11. General

These Terms and the Privacy Policy form the agreement between you and Crown Vinyl. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. We may update these Terms by posting a revised version with a new effective date.
