Artist vinyl values
Aerosmith vinyl values.
Originals, album by album.
Aerosmith's mid-70s Columbia albums sold in the millions, and most original copies sell for $5 to $15. The label alone won't date a copy, because Columbia kept the same red/orange design for years. The jacket and the catalog prefix do the work: a KC or PC number, the fan club line on Toys in the Attic, and the textured, quote-title cover on Rocks.

Aerosmith original vinyl value overview
Condition and the earliest jacket state matter more than the pressing plant. A clean first-state jacket with no barcode and a quiet disc is worth looking for; a later prefix or a smooth reprinted cover belongs with the cheaper represses.

How to compare the right copies
An artist name and album title describe the music, not the manufacturing history. Work from the physical evidence before using any value range.
- Read the catalog prefix on the spine and labels: KC came before PC, and JC did not appear until late 1976.
- Check the back cover for small-print changes such as "Aerosmith Fan Club" versus "Aerosmith Newsletter" and the "All Rights Reserved" line.
- Note the plant mark in the runouts (P, T1 or T2, S) along with any TML or STERLING stamp, and treat a back-cover barcode as a later reissue.

What moves a copy toward the top of the range
The strongest value signal is a complete set of details that all point to the same issue. For the albums covered here, pay particular attention to:
- Get Your Wings: KC 32847 jacket and labels with no PC sticker, clean disc and sharp corners.
- Toys in the Attic: First-state "Aerosmith Fan Club" jacket with no barcode and a clean 1975 pressing.
- Rocks: Textured quote-title jacket with the printed inner sleeve and a clean PC 34165 disc.
A later reissue in excellent condition can still be a great listening copy. It should simply be compared with reissue sales rather than original-press prices.

A few questions
The ones that come up.
Among the albums covered here, near-mint confirmed originals span $15–$45. The exact album, pressing, completeness, and condition determine the price, so use the linked album guide rather than treating that span as a blanket artist value.
Match the release-year label, complete catalog number, both runout matrices, jacket construction, and any original inserts. No single color, logo, or matrix fragment proves the whole pressing by itself.
